Bust Em Up Outfitters is based in Willard, New Mexico, Mike Mendez Has over 30 years of hunting experience. 24 of those years Training and running Hounds, The Mission of Bust Em Up Outfitters is to give individuals a transformative hunting experience that will last a lifetime and withhold his families tradition, We combine the powerful experience of first, finding God in the outdoors. In preparing for the hunt we help train the soul, body and mind to be best prepared for the ultimate hunting experience. Our services include basic archery and rifle marksmanship programs specifically designed for hunting. Lessons in butchering, wild game preservation. Field expedient wild game preparation and gourmet wild game preparation.
With the use of hound dogs we are able to hunt Bears & Mountain lion being able to hunt Mountain Lion year round. This sets us aside from our competition who are limited to hunting during the hunting seasons.

Hunting, especially bow hunting, requires a commitment that very few are willing to make. The level of skill and dedication required to successfully harvest is off the charts. We are here to guide you along every step of the way.There is much to hunting than showing up on opening day and taking a shot. Mike Mendez
Mike Mendez is a professional bowhunter and is the founder and CEO of Bust Em Up Outfitters LLC and has over 30 years of hunting experience. He has hunted every species of wild game New Mexico has to offer. Mike is a world renown Guide and Outfitter with over 245 successful guided hunts from mule deer to mountain lion. Mike is a pro staff and sponsored by several hunting equipment companies. Mike hunting adventures are featured on the Outdoor Channel and the Pursuit Channel.
Mike lives in Willard, New Mexico and has dedicated his life to hunting and raising hunting Dogs. Mike has outfitted and Guided hundreds of clients to hunting success. Mike is a world class Elk caller and ranks with the best hunters on the planet. His success rate says it all. Mike stands out amongst hunters in many aspects. Mike raises and breeds hunting dogs. Hunting lions and bear year round allows Mike to hone his hunting skills to a different level. Through decades of hunting predators, Mike as trained himself to think like a predator and move like a predator . This skill set that has taken decades of commitment and tenacity which tremendously benefits his clients. Mike’s knowledge of the outdoors Started as a child intruduced to the outdoors by his older brother ( Ruben Mendez ) and Uncles, Learning wildlife has come from doing the work and spending the time in the field. Mike is an avid learner, yet there is no substitute for paying the dues and spending the time in the field. Mike as learned his trade through the school of hard knocks and is willing to teach his hard earned lessons to his clients. The ability to hunt with well trained dogs is a skill set that few people in this world have. Dogs have senses that are literally hundreds of times better than humans; their ability to track animals gives the hunter an astonishing advantage. Many outfitters and guides do not use hunting dogs because it is a lost art and takes a lifestyle commitment few are willing to make.
